Several retailers in Cyprus are set to host Black Friday sales, an event that follows the US’s Thanksgiving festivities.
In the US, Black Friday has been occurring since 1932, and is a day that most major retailers open early in the morning and provide large discounts.
Black Friday has been regarded as the start of the Christmas shopping season.
Shoppers in Cyprus will be able to take part in several Black Friday sales this year, according to reports on City Free Press.
FUSION RETAIL CONCEPT
The sunglasses show room in Nicosia has organised a sale that will begin on Friday from 18:00 and end just two hours later at 20:00.
Discounts are set to range from 30 per cent to 50 per cent off on select sunglasses, the store has said.
City Free Press has learned that shoppers, who miss the chance to take part in the two-hour discount, will be able to receive the same deals over the entire weekend.
