Police are searching for the whereabouts of two men who were reported on Sunday by a 58-year-old fur shop owner from Paphos for attacking him and stealing €30,000.
According to police, a 58-year-old man, owner of a fur shop in Paphos, reported that shortly after midnight on Saturday, he was attacked by two men while he was in the parking area of the apartment building where he lives in Cholarakas.
The two perpetrators allegedly hit him on the arm with a piece of wood, threw him on the ground and snatched a bag he was holding with €30,000 in it, which was the shop’s proceeds from the last three weeks.
Following the attack, the 58-year-old went to the Paphos general hospital where he had the injuries on his arm treated.
The two attackers are described as thin, between 20 and 25 years old, and around 1.80 metres tall. They were both wearing dark coloured clothes, while one of them was wearing a dark jockey hat and had his face covered.
