Peyia home burgled

A British woman living in Paphos reported valuables and cash were taken when her house was broken into on Tuesday night.


 

Police from Peyia station, who were called to the residence of the woman, who is a permanent resident of Cyprus, were told the burglary must have taken place between 7.30pm and 9.45pm when she was absent from the residence.

Jewellery of, as yet unknown value, along with €350 in cash were reported missing.

From investigations carried out at the scene, it appeared the culprits broking into the premises by violating a sliding door. Police collected various pieces of evidence and investigations are continuing.
