A 43-year-old Paphos man was on Thursday jailed for seven years in connection with possession and cultivation of cannabis with intent to supply.
Andreas Christophi was arrested in February last year after police found around 1.4 kilos of cannabis and 29 plants measuring between 23 and 129 centimetres high in a flat in Yeroskipou.
Officers also found 36 cannabis stems, without roots, planted in rock wool in the bathtub, as well as ventilation pipes, lighting systems, temperature and humidity regulators, a humidifier, and other equipment.
Police managed to match genetic material and fingerprints lifted from the scene with the defendant.
