Cyprus set for heavy rains, thunderstorms, first snowfalls

If you don’t have a brolly, now may be a good time to get one as heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected to hit Cyprus from Tuesday next week, lasting until Thursday.

Kitas Weather reported that the cold, wet weather will last for around 60 to 72 hours.
On Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop rapidly with the first snowfalls also set to hit the Troodos Mountains’ highest peaks.
Kitas Weather reported that there’s a 70 per cent chance it would rain on a daily basis from Tuesday through to Thursday.
Most rains are expected to hit across the island’s western half and mountainous areas, however rains are to be expected across the entire island during the period.
