AML Officer, Pafos

Our client, a service provider Law Firm with offices in Pafos, wishes to employ an Assistant AML Officer.

Position’s Duties and Responsibilities 

Reporting to the appointed AML Officer of the firm the responsibilities will be as below:

  • Assisting with coordinating and monitoring the day-to-day Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance process.
  • Communication with clients and updating of clients’ files, risk assessment and of new clients.
  • Performing KYC checks as well as review and verification of received documentation and procedures for new and existing clients, utilizing the AML/Compliance internal database and available subscribed services
  • Ensuring that AML/Compliance internal database, and clients and internal Company’s data are up to date and accurate.
  • Providing support and assistance to the Compliance Officer for all matters as deemed necessary in carrying out daily activities and compliance functions.
  • Ongoing compliance, monitoring of clients’ transactions and operations.
  • Prepare and present summary of findings for the review of the Compliance Officer
  • Travel to external locations as per management directions (NOT routine, ONLY when necessary at the discretion of Management Example: visit to a Banking Institution

Position’s Requirements

  • University degree in Law, Business, Finance or other related field
  • Previous experience in AML, or a similar position will be considered as an advantage
  • CySEC certification will be considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and procedures for AML
  • Fluent in both English and Greek and excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in both languages.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Integrity and professional ethics

Working hours: 8:00 – 17:00

Salary: up to €24,900gross + 10% bonus based on KPIs
