Police are on the lookout for two men that were reportedly involved in a traffic collision in Paphos on Saturday night before fleeing the scene.
Traffic police investigators later discovered that the car had fake registration plates – believed to be from a motorbike that had been previously reported stolen. The vehicle had collided with a car being driven by a woman of 56 at the roundabout close to the Paphos archaeological site.
The woman’s husband – who had been a passenger in the car – suffered a broken collarbone during the crash and had been reportedly getting out of the vehicle during the time of impact.
The two men in the other car fled the scene of the crash.
