A 30 year old man was arrested by authorities in Paphos for attempting to stab a nightclub security guard with a knife in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred around 3:30am on Sunday morning when the Police was called to the scene when club representatives reported for a row in the club which led to the incident with the knife.
The 30 year old attacked a 40 year security guard and caused slight injuries on his face with the knife however he was arrested and took for questioning.
Everything happened before the 33 year old entered the club when the guards searched the culprit and found a 10cm blade. He was arrested.
The security guard was taken to Paphos hospital for treatment but nothing serious was reported to the 40 year old guard.
